We had a wonderful SONrise service at 6:00 AM outside on the patio with an acoustic worship service, sermon from Pastor Rose, the LORD's Supper and readings by several church members. This was followed by a free breakfast in our Fellowship Hall and 10:15 AM service inside in our Sanctuary which also included five Baptisms. We would like to thank everyone who came out to support, worship and those who contributed their time, energies and talents.

The Baker Road Baptist Church Pumpkin Patch is officially open as of October 15, 2023. From October 15 through October 31 we invite everyone out to enjoy the food trucks, face painting for the kids, the bounce house, Oliver the Watusi and the Bootiful Baby Contest. Come for fellowship, come for fun, come for the pumpkins... large and small for one and for all.

In these trying times we are also here for you if you seek prayer, emotional support and to be among friends who also are experiencing the same hardships as you. Come enjoy fellowship with us and find the peace you're looking for in a safe non-judging atmosphere.

Patch Clean Up: Tuesday, November 1, 2023 (EVERYONE AVAILABLE please attend)

Come out for the night of fun and games. Bring your favorite finger foods and snacks. Don't forget to Register/Sign-up online. This is just so we know how many people are coming. You can also Register/Sign-Up across from the kitchen at Baker Road Baptist Church. This event is FREE! Come one and come all!

The Lake Tomahawk BBQ will be on Tuesday October 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The cost will be $15 per person. If you would like to go you'll need to signup before September 18.

The bus will leave at 8:30 AM. Music entertainment will  be provided by "Branded" which is a Christian Country Duo. We hope to see you there!

We have scheduled our first meeting for the 2023 Pumpkin Patch and that will be on Thursday, August 31 at 6:00 PM. All are welcome to attend the meeting as we discuss how it is going to work, what is needed. This will include volunteers from our Church.

The pumpkins will arrive on October 14 at 2:00 PM. The Pumpkin Patch will be open from October 15 through October 31. Cleanup will be on November 1 at 10:00 AM.

Our website has just completed a major redesign. Following the completion of that project. The website will launch into an expansion project which will aim to provide even more information  and things going on within the Church and the surrounding community of Baytown.

Some of the expansion may include more information on Ministries, Groups, Events, Resources, Messages and a Blog section (which you're reading right now). We hope to be able to provide you with a living website. It is our hope that it will not only grow the Church's reach but also help provide an online resource and presence that can enhance your growth spiritually, but also relieve our Pastor of these duties of which he took on himself.
